Conductor Anja Bihlmaier leads the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in a program that begins with the 19th-century French composer Mel Bonis's Trois femmes de legende, which musically portrays Ofelia, Salome and Cleopatra. Through music by Modest Mussorgsky and Aram Khachaturyan, the concert ends with a suite from Igor Stravinsky's legendary Firebird , written for the Russian Ballet in Paris in 1910.
