Join students from the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras and Chicago Musical Pathways Initiative in the culminating event of the 2023 Chicago Youth in Music Festival. Civic Orchestra Principal Conductor Ken-David Masur leads the Festival Orchestra in an open rehearsal of selections from William Grant Still’s Symphony No. 1 and Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8. The students are joined side-by-side by musicians from the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
