Chicago native Herbie Hancock returns to the Orchestra Hall stage for the 14th time. In his 26-year history with the series, he has thrilled audiences with “expansive, free-ranging, densely textured performances” (Chicago Tribune) and a devotion to evolving the genre through “cross-pollination, adventurism and faith in what’s ahead” (The New York Times).
