The Wind Symphony opens its 2023–2024 season on Wednesday, Oct. 4 in Weigel Auditorium. Conductor Russel C. Mikkelson will lead the ensemble in a wonderfully varied program featuring visiting assistant professor of trombone, Elisabeth Shafer, on Bert Appermont’s Colors.
