Master trumpeter and longtime member of Carlos Santana’s band, Bill Ortiz has been one of the most in-demand artists in the Bay Area for over four decades. He makes his SFJAZZ debut as a leader with music from his new album Points of View — his first since leaving Santana in 2016 after 16 years.
