Iconic and ever-innovating, dance company Rambert brings work from its centenary programme, This Is Rambert, to Cadogan Hall, in honour of its centenary year. As one of the world’s most diverse companies of dancers, Rambert transforms everyday spaces by making dance that is awe-inspiring, adventurous, dynamic, and relevant.

Rambert gave its first performances in 1926, and in 2026 they will become Britain’s first dance company to celebrate 100 years. he UK premiere of a unique musical endeavour, Chopin Residue – a multidisciplinary project that explores the physical and conceptual boundaries of sound through a carefully controlled process of mechanical deconstruction.

The project begins with the reinterpretation of selected compositions by Fryderyk Chopin, which are transformed into experimental audio pieces emphasising texture, fragmentation, and abstraction.

Sonically, Chopin Residue navigates a landscape between experimental electronic music, ambient guitar work, free improvisation, and post-jazz sensibilities.

They’ll take the Symphony apart and show you how it works. And then they’ll put it back together, concluding the evening with a full performance.
