: Germany’s brightest young orchestra joins the conductor, pianist and all-round phenomenon Wayne Marshall in Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Holst’s The Planets. Everyone has their favourite bit of The Planets, whether it’s the warlike rhythms of Mars, the blissful calm of Venus, or the majesty of Jupiter. But Holst’s masterpiece is a lot more than just magnificent melodies – it’s a voyage to the outer limits of the human spirit.
