He’s too modest to admit it, but Sir John Rutter might just be the world’s best-loved living classical composer. Millions have sung his music, millions more have been touched by it: fresh, sincere and written with genuine love, it’s part of all our lives.

For the RPO, any chance to work with Sir John is a special occasion, and tonight’s concert is no exception as he conducts the UK premiere of Reflections, a brand new piano concerto which will be performed by British pianist Steven Osborne.

Streatham Choral and the Brandenburg Sinfonia bring the brilliance of Haydn’s The Creation to Cadogan Hall, directed by Calum Fraser.

Impressed and inspired by Handel’s great oratorios which he heard during visits to London, Haydn said, “I was struck as if I had been put back a hundred years in my art.”

The resulting 1798 masterpiece bursts with vivid orchestral colour, soaring choruses, and movements of awe and wonder, as it celebrates the dawn of light and life in the story of Genesis.

A spectacular evening of timeless arias and crossover classics – from the golden era of Maria Callas to the romantic voice of Andrea Bocelli – interpreted by soprano Tamara Rađenović, accompanied by the London Concert Orchestra.

Tamara Radjenović, the internationally acclaimed soprano, returns to Cadogan Hall’s stage after a series of outstanding performances across the globe, from New York to Tokyo, through Europe’s most prestigious venues. Following her unforgettable debut at our renowned venue in 2025, which ended with a standing ovation, this performance marks another key milestone in her remarkable career.

A Gala Night with Tamara Radjenović

A rhythm, a flute, and a melody you’ll never forget… it’s hard to say what exactly makes Ravel’s Boléro so irresistible. But this French composer had Spanish blood, and tonight’s concert is filled with the sunshine, the fragrance and the pure, intoxicating passion of Spain at its most seductive. Wild, whirling dances from Falla and Turina, delicate fairy tales from Ravel – it’s a fiesta in sound, even before Boléro strikes up that unstoppable beat.

But we couldn’t spend a night in Spain without hearing the classical guitar, and tonight the Coruña-based Spanish Galicia Symphony Orchestra is joined by dazzling young French guitarist Thibaut Garcia in that most Spanish of all guitar concertos: Rodrigo’s haunting and much-loved Concierto de Aranjuez.

This compelling programme is headlined by the world premiere of Critical Mass by the prominent American-British composer Tarik O’Regan and Mozart’s Solemn Vespers.

Critical Mass, a work commissioned by Wimbledon Choral, centres around the coronation Agnus Dei which was first sung at the coronation of King Charles III. It reflects the spirit of the coronation, combining solemnity and tradition with a sense of vibrant new beginnings.

Take a step back into the 1930s and ’40s with the world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, directed by legendary conductor Ray McVay, for the definitive celebration of Glenn Miller’s incredible musical legacy.

Join the Orchestra as it takes you on a guided tour through Glenn Miller’s most iconic hits. From ‘In the Mood’, ‘Moonlight Serenade’ and ‘American Patrol’, through to ‘Little Brown Jug’, ‘Tuxedo Junction’ and ‘Pennsylvania 6-500’ … plus many more timeless classics.

Celebrating an epic 10 years of touring, Frankie’s Guys are internationally renowned for their astonishing vocal harmonies, slick dance moves, and the electric atmosphere they bring to the stage.

Bassist and songwriter Bruce Foxton – best known for his work with The Jam and Stiff Little Fingers – and Chris Difford of Squeeze play Cadogan Hall as part of their highly anticipated 2026 tour.

With a career spanning nearly five decades, Foxton first rose to fame as bassist/vocalist and songwriter for The Jam, writing and performing lead vocals on ‘News of the World’, ‘Smithers-Jones’, and their celebrated cover of The Kinks’ ‘David Watts’.

Following The Jam’s split, Foxton released his solo album Touch Sensitive in 1984, before joining punk-rock pioneers Stiff Little Fingers, with whom he toured and recorded for over 15 years.

Kensington Symphony Orchestra returns to Cadogan Hall to perform Nielsen’s Fifth Symphony (1922), likened by the composer to “the division of dark and light, the battle between evil and good”.

Alternately explosive and calm, the work features a famous battle between the orchestra and a snare drummer, who is instructed to improvise “as though determined at all costs to stop the progress of the orchestra”.

KSO is joined by former BBC Young Musician keyboard finalist Firoze Madon for Grieg’s much-loved Piano Concerto (1868), written when the composer was just 24. A lyrical Andante is bookended by a dramatic Allegro and an energetic Finale, both featuring motifs influenced by Norwegian folk music.

The Sistine Chapel is one of the world’s great sacred spaces and over the centuries, it has inspired and nourished a musical tradition without parallel in Western culture. The Tallis Scholars share its treasures tonight in a concert that embraces both Allegri’s transcendent Miserere and the first UK performance of a recently rediscovered Requiem by the great Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina.

Tchaikovsky never did anything by halves, and he poured all his heartache, his sorrow and his matchless gift for melody into a final symphony like no other. Don’t be misled by the name: ‘Pathétique’ means ‘full of feelings’ and when Krzysztof Urbański conducts the Warsaw Philharmonic, that’s exactly what they’ll bring – as well as glowing colours and some of the greatest tunes even Tchaikovsky ever composed.

These superb Polish musicians are always a big hit at Cadogan Hall; tonight they share a lost masterpiece by the postwar Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz and join pianist Alexandra Dariescu in the teenage Chopin’s Second Piano Concerto – true romance, played with love. Hear it, and feel your heart melt.

Don’t be misled by the title: for Tchaikovsky, ‘Pathétique’ meant ‘full of emotion’ and when he composed his autobiographical final symphony… well, let’s just say that he didn’t hold back. Soaring romance, desperate tragedy and brilliant celebration: it’s all here, in a symphony that leaves no heartstring untugged, right up to its devastating and unforgettable conclusion.
