The Frost Symphony Orchestra opens the Centennial Season with an exciting program featuring works by two great American composers and Brahms’ second symphony. Charles Griffes, a prominent American representative of musical Impressionism, tragically died at the age of thirty-five. His famous piano work, The White Peacock, written in 1915, was orchestrated one year before his death.
