For 45 years, Ton Koopman and his Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra have been closely linked to Bach. During their long career, conductor and orchestra have won numerous important prizes; recordings have been awarded the Gramophone Award, the Diapason d'Or, the BBC Award and several Edisons. Bach wrote the Brandenburg Concertos in 1721 as a letter of application to Count Brandenburg. What do you think: would you hire him? Definitely!
