Among the most romantic and tragic compositions, Robert Schumann’s Dichterliebe portrays one man’s phantasmic pursuit of the woman he loves. Tenor Jamez McCorkle, who dazzled in the title role of Omar last Festival, both sings and accompanies himself on piano in this brand-new, multilayered production featuring stunning stagecraft and projections by award-winning artist Miwa Matreyek.
