Partake in the sacred and the profane with Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms and Orff’s Carmina Burana. The text of Carmina, written by medieval monks, celebrates dancing, drinking, spring, gambling, and other worldly pleasures. The famous “O Fortuna” chorus reminds us that fate will always have her say. Hans Graf conducts.
