The Israeli composer Michael Seltenreich, whose latest orchestral work is presented in this concert, grew up in Tel Aviv. Like Lahav Shani, he benefited from an early age from the lively Israeli music scene, whose founding father is considered to be Paul Ben-Haim from Munich.
