More details
Gustav Mahler was at the peak of his career when he composed his mighty Symphony No. 5. The breathtaking masterpiece contains the composer's entire outer and inner world: from the fateful to sorrow, impotence, folk life and the intoxicating love for his wife Alma. The love is expressed in the symphony's famous, passionate and beloved 4th movement – with the heart-rending tenderness of the strings and harp.
