When you study music, you have your instrument to practice on. When you are a conducting student, you need an orchestra to practice on, which is why the regional orchestras always put on a show once a year for conducting students from the Royal Danish Academy of Music.

The songs can be experienced this evening with an orchestra for the first time, and together the two composers shed new light on the Nordic national tone.
