The Palestinian-Jewish star pianist Saleem Ashkar in a meeting with Nordic brute force and poetry in the form of Edvard Grieg's piano concerto. The piano concerto is framed by Glinka's overture to the opera Ruslan & Ludmilla and Rachmaninov's large-scale Second Symphony. Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider is responsible for the musical direction.
