Spirit of Spring

Each year, we invite able young musicians to participate our annual side-by-side event. This year, our young colleagues will join us to perform Alexander Borodin’s powerful Polovtsian Dances. The spirit of music continues throughout the program, with a performance of American composer Augusta Read Thomas’s reflective Violin Concerto, No. 1, “Spirit Musings.” Soloist Hasse Borup is known for his championing of new music and exciting projects.
