A rising vocal star and two-time JUNO Award winner, Montreal-based singer and songwriter Dominique Fils-Aimé performs two nights in the Joe Henderson Lab with music from her latest album, Our Roots Run Deep, which took the 2024 JUNO for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year. “What she does with her voice is absolutely incredible” (NPR).

Rising star trumpeter Jonathan Dely makes a highly anticipated return to the Joe Henderson Lab following his sold out 2023 Hotplate holiday performances honoring his idol Wynton Marsalis and his 1989 Columbia album Crescent City Christmas Card.

A finalist in the National Trumpet Competition, the International Trumpet Guild Jazz Competition, and the Yamaha Young Performing Artist Competition, the Sausalito-based Dely declined a high-profile investment banking position at Wall Street’s largest bank to pursue his musical passion, earning a master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music on a full scholarship and paying his dues in New Yorks clubs and jam sessions.
