Like father, like son-in-law, both are Czech and both wrote piano quintets. A major talent, Suk’s quintet is fiery, lyrical, and heavenly, while Dvořák’s Piano Quintet, Op. 81 is the best in the genre. A perfect concert to celebrate Czech Independence Day!
