Healdsburg’s The 222 is set to become a vibrant hub for creative expression from September 2024 through June 2025. The venue will host an eclectic mix of events that cater to writers, dancers, musicians, and art enthusiasts alike. From the serene Writers’ Space to the expressive Dance @ 222, and from poetic workshops to the mesmerizing performances of Vox Humana SF, The 222 invites participants to explore their creative sides in a welcoming community. Dive into unique cultural experiences with The 222 as your backdrop.

Embrace Creativity: A Year of Art, Dance, and Expression at The 222

A good storyteller can show us a whole world: a new version of our own or an otherworld offering a mirror for reflection. For this “open-mic” reading, we invite you to bring an original short story that can be read in ten minutes (or a ten-minute portion of a longer story that can stand alone). Eight readers will be able to sign up as they arrive; the moderator will hold each to the ten-minute limit. All are welcome to attend. Please indicate in your RSVP if you plan to share a story, and of what length.
