Adelphi University will host the Pierrot Chamber Festival 2025, a celebration of chamber music through five events. Spanning across July, the festival features performances by esteemed musicians and talented participants, making it a cornerstone for music enthusiasts. Highlights include the Festival Alumni Concert, the renowned Pierrot Consort with guest artists, and the grand finale Festival Chamber Orchestra Concert. From Mendelssohn to Bach, this festival promises an intimate yet exhilarating musical journey.

Pierrot Chamber Festival 2025: A Symphony of Talent and Tradition

Selected ensembles from the Pierrot Chamber Music Festival and the Precollege Chamber Orchestra with conductor Douglas Aliano, will perform an afternoon concert of chamber ensemble and chamber orchestra music.

The Festival Chamber Orchestra with Susan Deaver, conductor, will perform in the final concert of the Pierrot Chamber Music Festival. In addition, the concert will include a performance by the Precollege Chamber Orchestra with conductor Douglas Aliano. The concert will conclude with several pieces featuring all Festival Participants.

The Pierrot Consort has performed at Merkin Concert Hall, Weill Recital Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Bartok Society at Saranac Lake, the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Conn., BOCES, the Stockbridge Chamber Concerts in Great Barrington, Mass., the St. Paul Chapel Series at Columbia University and for the Islip Arts Council. The artist members of the ensemble are actively involved in the musical life of New York City and have a commitment to the cultural enrichment of Long Island.
