Back by popular demand, the self-conducted, LA-based chamber orchestra Delirium Musicum returns to the Sunday Morning Music / Santa Monica series! A 21st-century musical phenomenon, Delirium Musicum represents the next wave of classical musicians, igniting the stage with electrifying interpretations of everything from Baroque masterpieces to the music of tomorrow. Called “ferocious and rhythmically mesmerizing” by the San Francisco Classical Voice, Delirium Musicum is known for their out-of-the-box approach to programming and brilliant live performances. Spending your Sunday morning with Delirium Musicum will be nothing short of musical magic!

This intimate musical adventure brings the intrepid quest of Etienne Gara and YuEun Kim’s six-month road trip through snowstorms, tsunamis, and unexpected human interactions to vivid life. The ensemble transforms the delirious energy of Delirium Musicum into more personal musical moments. Performing gorgeously eclectic music for all ages, Etienne Gara (violin), YuEun Kim (violin), and Stella Cho (cello) play pieces from French chansons to Monti’s Czardas, Brahms’ Hungarian Dances to Brazilian and Korean pop tunes, from Vivaldi to Charlie Chaplin.
