Dorthe Gerlach and the Danish Entertainment Orchestra are far from strangers to each other. They have previously shared the stage at midsummer concerts and on HUSH's tour – but for the first time they are now visiting the country's largest concert halls with a program where Dorthe's Danish-language universe unfolds in new, symphonic colors.

For more than two decades, Dorthe has been a distinctive voice in Danish music – both as one half of HUSH and as a soloist. She is known for her distinctive vocals, her personal lyrics and her special presence on stage. With songs like 'Natlys', 'Ingers Ting', 'Montebello' and 'Plastiksvanebåd', she combines poetry and storytelling with a rare ability to connect with the audience.

The Danish Entertainment Orchestra continues its series of symphonic tributes to the greatest Danish songwriters – and this time it is the turn of the country's best-selling band, Shu-bi-dua.

Few bands have created songs like Shu-bi-dua that all Danes can sing along to. With more than 23 albums and hits like 'Danmark', 'Den Røde Tråd', 'Sexchikane', 'Vuffeli-Vov' and 'Hvalborg', they have set the Danish folk soul on fire.

The Danish Entertainment Orchestra continues its series of symphonic tributes to the great Danish songwriters, and this time the focus is on the country's best-selling band, Shu-bi-dua . With 12 concerts from Copenhagen to Odense, the Orchestra pays tribute to a piece of the Danish folk soul.

"There are melodies that you can hear without a radio. They just hang in the air. For many people, Shu-bi-dua is the very sound of Denmark. Their songs are sung around the St. Hans bonfire, in Christmas rooms and at festive tables across generations. We are delighted to be allowed to create a symphonic soundscape for a large and varied bouquet of songs that are among the most beloved in Danish folk culture," saysJohn Frandsen, CEO of the Danish Entertainment Orchestra.

True to tradition, Burhan G, together with the Danish Entertainment Orchestra, returns to the House of Music with his popular Christmas show - for young and old.

The show is a musical journey into the familiar tones, songs and hymns of the month of December.

"I am personally deeply grateful to be part of such a strong and beautiful Christmas tradition, as the concerts with the Danish Entertainment Orchestra have become between the audience and me. Christmas is a fairy tale. A familiar, but also new story that you write on year after year and throughout your life together with those you love and care about. We will do that again in December, and I am already looking forward to it." – Burhan G.

" We've been away for a while - from each other and the music - to give space for reflection and peace. Coming back together with the Entertainment Orchestra feels like the right way to open the club again ," says lead singer Kjartan Arngrim.

Over the past 10 years, the Danish Entertainment Orchestra has traveled from DR's classic concert halls to the country's largest venues and stages in inspiring, versatile and, not least, audience-loving collaborations with some of Denmark's best-known pop and rock artists.
