British band Toploader broke through in the 00s with their debut album Onka's Big Moka and their version of the song “Dancing in the Moonlight” – a song that still fills dance floors and radio waves around the world.

Since then, the band has cemented themselves as one of the UK's most listened to bands with over a billion streams, sold-out tours and appearances on some of the world's biggest stages, from Glastonbury and Reading Festivals to Wembley Stadium, where they became the last British band to play at the original stadium.

" We've been away for a while - from each other and the music - to give space for reflection and peace. Coming back together with the Entertainment Orchestra feels like the right way to open the club again ," says lead singer Kjartan Arngrim.

Over the past 10 years, the Danish Entertainment Orchestra has traveled from DR's classic concert halls to the country's largest venues and stages in inspiring, versatile and, not least, audience-loving collaborations with some of Denmark's best-known pop and rock artists.

Celebrating The Last Waltz is an authentic and personal tribute to some of the greatest icons in rock history.

With this concert you will have a rare opportunity to relive one of the most mythical concerts in rock history – in one of the country's most beautiful concert halls.

On Thanksgiving Day 1976, The Band – one of the most influential Americana and roots rock bands of the 60s and 70s, known for their tight vocal harmonies and collaborations with Bob Dylan – gave their legendary farewell concert, The Last Waltz, in San Francisco. It became a musical highlight, with some of the biggest names of the era sharing the stage: Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton and many more. The concert was immortalized by film director Martin Scorsese and today stands as one of the most iconic nights in rock history.

Throughout the 1970s, they were one of the best-selling English pop bands, and several of their hits from that time, such as I'm Not In Love and The Things We Do For Love, are still alive and well – not least because they are still used in soundtracks for films and TV series. In this way, the band has managed to stay relevant for several decades by both maintaining a loyal fan base among old fans and constantly attracting new listeners. Now 10cc will stop by Musikkens Hus on the band's big 2026 "And Another Bloody Greatest Hits Tour", which includes more than 20 concerts in the UK – culminating with a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London this summer. In November next year, Aalborg will have the pleasure.

At Musikkens Hus, it has become a bit of a tradition that Christmas is sung in by the Oslo Gospel Choir. That's why we're letting the Christmas spirit sink in again this year, while you settle into the Concert Hall's red chairs and let the sweet gospel music wash over you. Because nothing can bring Christmas joy to your toes and a smile to your ears like gospel music
