With her role in the TV series Badehotellet, she has gradually become the epitome of Danish summer, and now Amalie Dollerup forms the vocal front when we traditionally celebrate the arrival of midsummer. We know her as an actress in a number of TV, film and theatre roles, but Amalie Dollerup is also an experienced singer, who in addition to a number of concerts has participated in several musical performances.

At this magical midsummer concert, she enriches us with selected, beautiful, Danish songs, and we can also look forward to hearing the Nordjysk Pigekor and Klarup Pigekor, who, true to tradition, lead the audience out of the Concert Hall to the Midsummer party outside at Musikkens Plads, where there is a bonfire and speeches.

The Aalborg Symphony Orchestra with David Riddell on the conductor's podium supports the evening's soloists. It is the soprano Isabel Schwartzbach, who most recently received great praise for the role of Maria in The Sound of Music at Det Ny Teater. She sings, among other things, I Could Have Danced All Night from My Fair Lady.

When it comes to settling accounts of Danish rock music, The Savage Rose will inevitably be found somewhere at the very top of the pyramid. For more than five decades, the band, fronted by Annisette, has been among the most prominent names on the Danish rock scene.

Since their debut album in 1968, The Savage Rose has united raw power, poetry and spirituality in a sound that not only revolutionized Danish rock, but also defined it as an independent art form. Over the years, it has become an impressive catalog – from the groundbreaking classics “Dødens Triumf” and “Black Angel” to albums like “Universal Daughter”, “Love and Freedom” and “Homeless”.

Michel Belli pays tribute to his father and plays his immortal songs.

In September 2023, Michel Belli received the Danish Rock Academy's honorary award on behalf of his father – the legendary Peter Belli.

Peter Belli was supposed to be there himself and sing at the awards ceremony with Burnin' Red Ivanhoe as backing, but unfortunately that didn't happen. He passed away three months before and instead Michel Belli had to accept the award on his behalf and not least sing some of the immortal classics.

Stig and the original musicians from Bamses Venner revive – with love and respect – well-known and beloved hits such as “Vimmersvej”, “Jeg elsker kun dig”, “Kongens Have”, “Hvorfor går Louise til bal?” and “I en lille båt der gynger”.

You know Stig Rossen – and the Friends are the remaining members of Bamses Venner: Peter Bødker (keyboard, guitar), Frank Thøgersen (drums) and Allan Nagel (bass).

Stig & Vennerne was formed in 2011 by Stig Rossen and the remaining members of Bamses Venner. After Flemming Bamse Jørgensen's unexpected death, Stig offered to perform at one of the concerts that had already been planned before his passing.

In 2026, Claus Hempler returns with a new album – the follow-up to the critically acclaimed "Suitcase Full of Bricks".

Since his debut with the band Fielfraz in 1990 and most recently with the critically acclaimed "Kuffert Fuld Af Mursten" from 2019, Claus Hempler has cemented his position as one of the country's most distinctive and stylish singers. Early in his career, he distinguished himself as a distinctive voice on the Danish music scene, and over the years, his strongly personal solo releases have made him a favorite of both the audience and musicians.

The audience alternates between being an active part of the concert through communal singing – where the hall rises as one – and sitting back, listening and disappearing into beautiful melodies, thought-provoking lyrics and evocative soundscapes.

On May 4, 1945 at 8:35 p.m., the message of freedom was broadcast on the radio. After five dark years under German occupation, Denmark was once again a free and independent country. We mark this historic day with a concert performance that combines a concert experience and community singing in the finest way.

The art of rejoicing in chorus - A lark is relieved

Sort Sol hardly needs any introduction. From their beginnings as the punk band Sods in 1977 and later as Sort Sol, they have helped shape and renew the sound of Danish rock for decades.

After a six-year break from the big live stages, the band returned in 2024 with an exclusive final concert at Copenhell – and since then, fans across the country have been asking for more.

Now the wait is over. Sort Sol will embark on an extensive Danish tour in 2026 and will visit Musikkens Hus in its strongest line-up: Steen Jørgensen (vocals), Lars Top-Galia (guitar) and Tomas Ortved (drums), flanked by AC (bass) and Manoj Ramdas (guitar), both formerly of The Raveonettes.

Tabloid is a collection of five of the country's most prominent musicians from the pop and jazz scene. Together they create music that reminds us not to judge and limit ourselves.

They have so far released three albums inspired by 80s funk and fusion jazz. The band is currently working on their third album 'Hot Gossip', which both visually and compositionally shows them at their most energetic and adventurous.

Grammy-winning singer and guitarist Christopher Cross visits Musikkens Hus and invites you to an evening filled with timeless soft rock, presence and musical magic.

Since his breakthrough in 1980 with his self-titled debut album – which sensationally earned him five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Sailing” – Cross has stood as one of the soft rock genre’s most iconic voices. The debut album launched a career that has sold over ten million albums, had five Top 10 singles and earned him an Oscar, a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination.

Dorthe Gerlach and the Danish Entertainment Orchestra are far from strangers to each other. They have previously shared the stage at midsummer concerts and on HUSH's tour – but for the first time they are now visiting the country's largest concert halls with a program where Dorthe's Danish-language universe unfolds in new, symphonic colors.

For more than two decades, Dorthe has been a distinctive voice in Danish music – both as one half of HUSH and as a soloist. She is known for her distinctive vocals, her personal lyrics and her special presence on stage. With songs like 'Natlys', 'Ingers Ting', 'Montebello' and 'Plastiksvanebåd', she combines poetry and storytelling with a rare ability to connect with the audience.

When Poul Krebs turns 70, he not only marks it with a new album and his lifelong back catalogue; he also embarks on one of the most ambitious tours of his career: 70 concerts across all of Denmark.

He died at the age of just 36, but he still lives on in the world of music with hits like 'No Woman, No Cry' and 'One Love'.

On February 6, 2025, he would have turned 80, and in 2026 we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his legendary album 'Rastaman Vibration' – two major milestones, which will be marked with a magnificent tribute concert.

When people sing together, something happens. It strengthens mental health, activates both body and mind, and singing together releases “happy hormones” that improve your mood and reduce stress.

Under the title Sing! Sing! Sing! we invite you to a concert where the audience themselves perform. Under the competent guidance of singing instructor Line Groth, you will learn one of the great pop songs of the day, and after a few hours we will be ready to sing the song together.

All participants meet at 7 pm with singing instructor, Line Groth, who over the next two hours will teach us today's choir arrangement - which has been written for the purpose and adapted to the level. The repertoire is one of the great pop hits of the time - often by Danish artists.

The Danish Entertainment Orchestra continues its series of symphonic tributes to the greatest Danish songwriters – and this time it is the turn of the country's best-selling band, Shu-bi-dua.

Few bands have created songs like Shu-bi-dua that all Danes can sing along to. With more than 23 albums and hits like 'Danmark', 'Den Røde Tråd', ​​'Sexchikane', 'Vuffeli-Vov' and 'Hvalborg', they have set the Danish folk soul on fire.

When Alberte Winding steps on stage, something very special happens. With her warm voice, present stories and a band that exudes musicality, the audience is invited into a poetic universe where both the heart and the mind find space.

After receiving the DMA's Honorary Award in 2023, Alberte continues to move and gather her audience. This evening she shares the stage with her husband, guitarist Andreas Fuglebæk, and a full band – and together they transform the hall into a living space of music, memories and new encounters, bringing life and live energy to beloved classics as well as new additions.

Danish guitarist Jakob Bro is on tour in Scandinavia with a groundbreaking team of musicians.

With him he brings two of the most exciting new Japanese names, Fumi Endo and Kanon Aonami, who Bro himself was very moved by after experiencing them live in Tokyo in connection with Music For Black Pigeons' premiere:

“They have a beautiful sound… both of them… and can create an atmosphere with a tone, a touch, as in a dream or a meditation.” This is the first time that Fumi Endo and Kanon Aonami are coming to Denmark.

"Great Love Songs" is an evening of hearts, dedicated to the eternal story of longing love, unattainable love, and all-consuming and amazing love. 

Experience the greatest jazz ballads - immortalized by, among others, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire, Ella Fitzgerald and others - sung this evening by the award-winning Kira Skov and Denmark's arguably most talented jazz crooner Mads Mathias, who individually and together give the classics fresh life in new arrangements for the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra.

As an extra treat, there is also a distinguished return visit from Hollywood by the American pianist and composer Josh Nelson, who, among other things, took the audience by storm together with Sinne Eeg in the spring of 2025 at the James Bond Gala at the House of Music.

She is by no means an unwritten page in Danish music. From P3 hits and strong live performances to the critically acclaimed album 'Nationens Skrammer', which really highlighted Soleima's lyrical talent in Danish, she has sung her way into the musical hearts of Danes.

Simon and Garfunkel Tribute invites the audience on an emotional musical journey back in time. Helge Leonhardt, who enchants vocally and on the guitar as Paul Simon, and Kasper Leonhardt, who delivers outstanding vocal performances as Art Garfunkel, recreate the era and joy of the iconic songs that fans around the world have loved for decades.

Christmas isn't quite the same without music – and when the Nordkraft Big Band returns to the House of Music with their big Christmas show, the Christmas spirit is guaranteed.

This time the big band is joined by Anna David and Bryan Rice, who both together and separately bring new life to some of the greatest Christmas classics.

Since her breakthrough in 2005 with "F**k Dig", Anna David has established herself as one of the country's most prominent artists. Bryan Rice can also celebrate his 20th anniversary as one of Denmark's strongest pop stars; his hit "No Promises" went straight to number one and was the start of a career with both national and international success.

The great big band Christmas show

It is the orchestra's last concert before the Christmas holidays, and as always, the Christmas atmosphere is turned up extra high, both in the hall and in the music.

This year there is a Nordic theme, and the audience can look forward to hearing both Danish, Norwegian and Swedish Christmas melodies - with occasional detours to, among other places, the USA.

The concert begins with Peter Faber's Højt fra træets grønne top, and then the tour moves to Sweden and excerpts from Lars-Erik Larsson's A winter's tale. Likewise, Swedish is Jul Jul brætt jul, and from Norway it is, among other things, Mit hjerte altid vanker. The whole thing ends with a communal song – Dejlig er jorden, og som mae julep gerne kompa.

With this concert you will have a rare opportunity to relive one of the most mythical concerts in rock history – in one of the country's most beautiful concert halls.

On Thanksgiving Day 1976, The Band – one of the most influential Americana and roots rock bands of the 60s and 70s, known for their tight vocal harmonies and collaborations with Bob Dylan – gave their legendary farewell concert, The Last Waltz, in San Francisco. It became a musical highlight, with some of the biggest names of the era sharing the stage: Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton and many more. The concert was immortalized by film director Martin Scorsese and today stands as one of the most iconic nights in rock history.

Celebrating The Last Waltz

Throughout the 1970s, they were one of the best-selling English pop bands, and several of their hits from that time, such as I'm Not In Love and The Things We Do For Love, are still alive and well – not least because they are still used in soundtracks for films and TV series. In this way, the band has managed to stay relevant for several decades by both maintaining a loyal fan base among old fans and constantly attracting new listeners. Now 10cc will stop by Musikkens Hus on the band's big 2026 "And Another Bloody Greatest Hits Tour", which includes more than 20 concerts in the UK – culminating with a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London this summer. In November next year, Aalborg will have the pleasure.
