It is the orchestra's last concert before the Christmas holidays, and as always, the Christmas atmosphere is turned up extra high, both in the hall and in the music.

This year there is a Nordic theme, and the audience can look forward to hearing both Danish, Norwegian and Swedish Christmas melodies - with occasional detours to, among other places, the USA.

The concert begins with Peter Faber's Højt fra træets grønne top, and then the tour moves to Sweden and excerpts from Lars-Erik Larsson's A winter's tale. Likewise, Swedish is Jul Jul brætt jul, and from Norway it is, among other things, Mit hjerte altid vanker. The whole thing ends with a communal song – Dejlig er jorden, og som mae julep gerne kompa.

With her role in the TV series Badehotellet, she has gradually become the epitome of Danish summer, and now Amalie Dollerup forms the vocal front when we traditionally celebrate the arrival of midsummer. We know her as an actress in a number of TV, film and theatre roles, but Amalie Dollerup is also an experienced singer, who in addition to a number of concerts has participated in several musical performances.

At this magical midsummer concert, she enriches us with selected, beautiful, Danish songs, and we can also look forward to hearing the Nordjysk Pigekor and Klarup Pigekor, who, true to tradition, lead the audience out of the Concert Hall to the Midsummer party outside at Musikkens Plads, where there is a bonfire and speeches.
