Turbinen reopened as a venue in October 2016 after a comprehensive renovation thanks to a generous donation from the Købmand Herman Sallings Fond. Turbinen has been newly renovated from the ground up with state-of-the-art technology and a new, stylish interior with a lounge on one floor and a concert hall upstairs. The lounge is used for intimate concerts, music lectures and Artist Talks, and the hall itself, which has space for 349 standing guests, sets the stage for a lot of rhythmic concerts all year round. The hall is also regularly transformed into a cozy jazz club, where you can experience comedy and cabaret, and it is also used for special seated concerts, where the presence, intimacy and great musical experiences are turned up.
