Horsens Ny Teater

Horsens Ny Teater was built in 1909. For many years, the theatre was used extensively for plays, operas, ballet performances, concerts and also as a cinema. However, from 1982 the old building stood empty and unused for a long period of time until 1991, when the theatre reopened after a thorough renovation. The renovation was carried out with respect for the original details, so that for example the original ceiling dome in the Great Hall, adorned with angels and stucco decoration, has been beautifully preserved.
