Bassist Tine Asmundsen is one of many jazz musicians who come from Kongsberg, and like so many others, she also spent years in the Kongsberg Big Band. She has been involved in many musical constellations, and has performed several times both at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival and at Jazz Evidence. Many will fondly remember the concerts with the quintets Lonely Woman and Asmundsen & Co. Tine Asmundsen was among the first to perform at Jazzkaféen. In the fall of 2011 she played with the trio Roundtrip, a trio that returned several times. Together with guitarist Håkon Storm Mathisen, she has for many years played the opening concert for the jazz films at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival. Håkon Storm Mathisen also has a rich career behind him, and his restrained guitar playing comes into its own in this intimate format.

The music is arranged by Martin Myhre Olsen for the Oslo Jazz Ensemble, with room for both precise arrangements and free improvisation. Tom Hasslan Band: Memorial Concert for Axel Skalstad

The exceptionally vibrant jazz scene in Kongsberg keeps producing new band configurations. In this trio, three musicians from different generations come together, but they are no strangers to one another. Both Albert and Lilli played in Tom Hasslan's Christmas jam band last Christmas, and the collaboration worked so well that it is both natural and desirable for it to continue. Those who know these musicians know that this Jazzkafé will likely be dominated by temperament and energy, because here one of the country's liveliest and most creative guitarists meets two exceptionally promising young musicians.
