A poetic and musical performance: texts by Grég Allaeys set to music by Benoît Dendievel, directed by Angélique Catel. A "show" according to the actor-author, or a "concert" according to the actor-pianist.

Deux fois rien

ISLE 80

Jirai, Where You Least Expect It

Quelques secondes encore

A lively journey: an exhilarating and original moment of theatre in which burlesque plays with the intimate. Running time: 1h15. Ages 12 and up. Tickets: €20 full price / €14 Off/reduced.

When the Voice Takes Over

From outbursts of rage to tender humor, Noémie the fairground performer recounts her life as an "individual and beautiful" woman. She is free and refuses to be intimidated by those who would have people believe she is mad. Life sometimes makes her suffer, but it does not dent her joy in living. Her wit and her jubilation color every moment of her story. She plays with words and mocks the education given by the nuns, the rules of patriarchy, and the traffickers in weapons and souls. She claims her difference and her sensuality, and refuses "the imprint of normality." Written in 1972, this text is strikingly relevant today. Prévert offers us the pleasure of his language, its force and liveliness, and its uncompromising humor.

The Headless Woman

Storytelling Evening

At the heart of Carlo and Alberta's home in Trieste, or in the modest apartment of their cousin Alice, recently widowed, we encounter their aunt Teresina, her nurse Clelia, the endearing Telvi and the penniless painter Sereni. The characters, caught in their everyday lives between frustration and dreams, are accompanied by the smile of protection and self-mockery dear to the Italian author Italo SVEVO. The action takes place in Trieste, in 1920.

The Two Cousins

A curated evening given to a storyteller who showcases unpublished pieces and essays, followed by a drink and a discussion. A work-in-progress show built around tales from Rwanda and The Little Shepherdess, a version of Cinderella.
