Groton Hill Music Center, previously known as Indian Hill Music, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to music education and performance. Established in 1986, it initially hosted chamber music concerts at the Kalliroscope Gallery in Groton, Massachusetts, thanks to a partnership with gallery owner Paul Matisse. In 1991, a Steinway concert grand piano was selected for the gallery's acoustically perfect performance space, enhancing its reputation for high-quality music presentations. The organization rebranded as Groton Hill Music Center in September 2022, moving to a new facility on Old Ayer Road. The new center features Meadow Hall, a 300-seat venue hosting diverse musical genres, including jazz, chamber music, and global roots. Groton Hill Music Center also offers extensive educational programs, private lessons, and community engagement initiatives. Notably, the Threshold Singers, part of the center's community outreach, provide bedside singing for those who are ill or dying, contributing to the organization's mission of fostering musical experiences that enrich lives.
