The Civic Center Foundation is a significant cultural organization responsible for managing the Civic Center Music Hall and Hudiburg Chevrolet Center. The Civic Center Music Hall, originally known as the Municipal Auditorium, was inaugurated in 1937 as part of the Civic Center Project. In 1967, a transformative development occurred when a theatre-within-a-theatre was constructed, leading to the venue's rechristening as the Civic Center Music Hall. Over the years, the Civic Center Music Hall has established itself as a central hub for a diverse array of events, including Broadway shows, rock concerts, graduations, and the annual Festival of Art. The venue celebrated a milestone in 2012 with its 75th Diamond Anniversary, marking over seven decades of cultural contributions to the community. In 2018, the Civic Center Foundation took over the management of both the Civic Center Music Hall and the Hudiburg Chevrolet Center, further solidifying its role in the region's cultural landscape. The Foundation is guided by a Board of Directors composed of community members dedicated to the organization's mission and success. The Civic Center Foundation also offers opportunities for public engagement and support, including donor and sponsorship programs, and invites those interested in its history to book docent-guided tours of the historic building. Additionally, the Foundation provides career opportunities for individuals looking to join their team and contribute to the organization's ongoing endeavors. For more information or to get in touch with any department at the Civic Center Music Hall or Hudiburg Chevrolet Center, the Foundation encourages contact through their official channels.
