Guitarist Adam Moezinia is a native of Los Angeles, where he studied at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) under the mentorship of Jason Goldman, Walter Smith III, and Kenny Dennis. Within his first year at LACHSA, Adam was selected as a representative for the Thelonius Monk Institute’s nationwide peer-to-peer tours. There he performed and co-taught on four tours with established jazz musicians: Bobby Watson, Antonio Hart, and Lisa Henry. In 2008, he performed at the former Kodak Theatre (now Dolby Theatre) for the Thelonius Monk Saxophone Competition w/ the “Thelonious Monk High School All-Star Jazz Septet” featuring Antonio Hart. In 2010, he moved to New York City to study at The Juilliard School under a full tuition scholarship. Since then, he’s worked with many greats such as Freddy Cole, Mike LeDonne, Cecile Mclorin Salvant, George Coleman and Kenny Washington at venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, Birdland, Smoke, Scullers and Bird’s Basement. Adam has also been performing regularly with his band the “Folk Element” trio since 2017. The trio is rooted in the jazz tradition but is influenced by folk music from all over the world including West Africa, South Africa, the Caribbean, the UK and Appalachia. As of April 2021, they officially released their debut album “Folk Element Trio” available in the “store” section! Moving forward, they will continue to explore the unique relationship between jazz and folk music, sharing those discoveries with audiences across the globe.

Born and raised in San Francisco, now based in NYC, Gabriel showcases a catalogue of original music, jazz standards, and arrangements of works by Bill Evans, Chick Corea, Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington, Cedar Walton, and Keith Jarrett. Gabriel honors the history of these master pianists with performances that are both soulful and hard-hitting. You’ll find him performing with distinguished jazz musicians at household New York City jazz venues including The Django, Ornithology, The Harlem Jazz Museum, Chelsea Table and Stage, Cellar Dog, and more.

New York-based pianist, composer, arranger and educator, Caili O’Doherty (pronounced “KAY-lee” “oh-DOE-er-tee”), is known for integrating structures of language in both her compositions and her approach to improvisation. Her recent music focuses on the celebration, preservation, and expansion upon the achievements of jazz’s unsung women heroes.

Also an accomplished composer, arranger and educator, the Teaneck, New Jersey native's skill and versatility has resulted in him working with a wide array of performers that range from the Count Basie Orchestra and The Christian McBride Big Band, to Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys.

Courtney Wright is a promising young composer and baritone saxophonist based in New York City. She is an active side musician, performing with many different ensembles in NYC, including the Birdland Big Band and the Arturo O’Farrill Latin Jazz Orchestra. Courtney also leads her own Quintet and Jazz Orchestra that primarily perform her original compositions and arrangements.

Kaushik Viswanath is a jazz vocalist based in New York City. He was trained in Carnatic classical music, was the lead singer of the Chennai-based rock band Pakoda, and was a vocalist with the University of Notre Dame jazz band in 2013-14.

Cameron Campbell (a.k.a. "mellotones") is a 20 year old pianist, composer and producer from Worcester MA. His primary focus is Black American Music and music of the African Diaspora, as well as avant-garde and electronic music. Although Cameron began playing the piano at the age of 2, his musical career truly began around age 9, as he and his siblings performed American songbook standards at nursing homes around Central MA. Throughout middle and high school Cameron performed with the Assumption University Jazz Ensemble and attended many summer jazz camps where he got the opportunity to learn from and work with legendary musicians such as Jimmy Cobb, Sheila Jordan, Christian Sands, Javon Jackson, David Williams, and Luis Perdomo. In 2016, Cameron began studying with well known Central MA pianist Dick Odgren (Emil Haddad, Mike Metheny, Ictus) until the summer of 2018, when he began studying with esteemed pianist Christian Sands to further develop his craft and sound. Cameron has performed with the Assumption University Jazz Ensemble, Arlington Youth Jazz Ensemble, Isosceles Groove, MA Central Districts Big Band, MA All State Big Band and the All National Big Band.

Holly grew up in East Tennessee and began playing the piano very early, always watching her parents play and wanting to copy what she heard. She was three years old or so when she picked out her first tune by ear on the piano. Loathe to take lessons, she mainly taught herself by learning music by ear and arranging it however she liked on the piano until college, when she met Donald Brown at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Brown recognized Holly's inclination for the jazz idiom and immediately took her under his wing, which quickly resulted in Holly's firm decision to pursue a professional career as a jazz pianist. During her time at UT Knoxville, Holly also studied classical piano under the direction of world-renowned pianist and Sandra G. Powell Endowed Professor of Piano Dr. Chih-Long Hu, as well as music composition under the direction of award-winning new music composer Dr. Andrew Sigler.

For more than two decades she’s been on the scene, bassist/vocalist/producer/label owner and now filmmaker Mimi Jones has reigned supreme, as a side woman to an impressive coterie of musicians and as a leader with three original recording projects on her own Hot Tone Music label. Born Miriam Sullivan in New York City on March 25, 1972, and was raised in the Bronx. Jones studied Music at the Manhattan School of Music Conservatory, and has also studied with Linda McKnight, Lisle Atkinson, Barry Harris, Milt Hinton, Dr. Billy Taylor, Yusef Lateef. She has toured extensively for over 30 years throughout the seven continents, and has played with such people as Frank Ocean, Kenny Barron, DD Bridgewater, Dianne Reeves, Tia Fuller, Roy Hargrove, Terri Lyne Carrington, Beyonce, Jason Moran, Common, Black Thought and more. Mimi Jones co-directs a multimedia interdisciplinary production with pianist ArcoIris Sandoval entitled The D.O.M.E. Experience, creating choreography, musical and visual works inspired by social injustices and environmental changes in our world. Voted #1 & #2 rising star by the DownBeat polls for 3 consecutive years, she currently works on a new project called The Black Madonna. The Berklee School of Music professor recently began collaborating with a trio called Nite Bjuti featuring Vocalist Candice Hoyes, and Sound Chemist Val Jeanty. Mimi is a recipient of the Chamber Music America Performance Plus Award 2021.

Dominick “Domo” Branch is a bi-coastal drummer, composer, and educator from Portland, Oregon. Along with leading his own band, Branchin’ Out, he is also the co-leader of the Brown Branch Jazz Orchestra with pianist/keyboardist Charlie Brown III and the co-owner of the Sound Poets Productions with his partner Matt Malanowski. Since finishing his degree at New York’s Manhattan School of Music, Branch has established himself as one of the up and coming faces in the international music scene, performing and touring with artists such as Sean Jones, Stefon Harris, Ron Artis II, Dianne Reeves, Mike Phillips, Terance Blanchard, Taylor Eigsti, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. He has played at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, the Monterey Jazz Festival, Marciac Jazz Festival, Caramoor Jazz Festival, Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Jazz Standard. Branch aims to use his musical journey as a vehicle of inspiration for young people, and has given motivational speeches at various universities, high schools and music festivals.

Kate Baker’s debut recording was her late husband Vic Juris’s swan song. But that’s not the beginning, nor the end, of the story. In early 2019, the married collaborators — who had performed together for two decades — recorded Return to Shore. A captivating set of duo recordings, the album showcased Baker’s fluid, radiant voice and Juris’s supple guitar mastery in an intimate, unadorned setting.
