Boston Court Pasadena, a non-profit arts organization, was founded in 2003 by philanthropist Z. Clark Branson in Pasadena, California. Branson, inspired by his lifelong passion for the arts, established a state-of-the-art facility featuring a 99-seat Main Stage and an 80-seat flexible space. The organization produces over 100 performances annually, encompassing theatre, music, and visual arts. Notable programs include the Emerging Artists Series and the New Play Reading Festival. Boston Court Pasadena is dedicated to creating innovative, boundary-pushing art that explores the depths of human existence and fosters empathy and change. The organization also emphasizes anti-racism and community engagement, acknowledging its location on the unceded lands of the Tongva, Gabrielino, and Kizh peoples. The facility is managed by a diverse team, including Artistic Director Jessica Kubzansky and Managing Director Cheryl Rizzo, who ensure the continuation of its mission to illuminate collective humanity through art.
