Ravinia Festival, first opened in 1904, is the oldest outdoor music festival in the United States. Located in Highland Park, Illinois, it offers over 140 high-quality musical experiences each summer, catering to diverse audiences. The festival is renowned for its classical music performances and educational initiatives, including the Ravinia Steans Music Institute, which supports young, gifted performers. Ravinia also engages the community through its Reach Teach Play programs, impacting 75,000 individuals annually. The festival features an annual poster design competition and the Kohl Kaplan Fountain, which hosts performances.
