MusiPæd focuses on Nordic music education at conservatoire level with brass instruments at the centre. Course participants from the Nordic countries, the Baltic countries and the rest of the world gather at DKDM for a week of masterclasses and workshops held by guest teachers Pasi Pirinen, Maria Rubio Navarro, Louise Pollock and DKDM's own teachers Jesper Juul Windahl, Jakob Keiding, Nikolaj Viltoft and Jens Bjørn-Larsen. The course concludes with two concerts where the participants show what they have worked on during the week.

The Play of the Night is an opera in one act with music by Britta Byström and libretto by Peter Bäckström. The title refers to Penelope's nightly dreams, where she encounters images, goddesses and people. Her analysis of these dreams is reflected in her daily life: in her waiting for her husband Odysseus, who may never return from war, and in her impending life choices.

Immersive sound, 3D sound, surround sound... All sound is spatial, we perceive sound spatially, and we create and recreate both real and virtual spaces to make room for new artistic impulses. The field is evolving rapidly and almost all musical genres are exploring the artistic possibilities.
