Things are tense at Hansel and Gretel's house: Dad has lost his job, their bank account is as empty as the fridge, and a family vacation is out of the question… Over something trivial, their father snaps and throws his children out of the apartment. Although he immediately regrets his outburst, Hansel and Gretel are now on their own. An adventurous journey through the urban jungle begins for them. Along the way, the two encounter strange characters, dangerous temptations, and new challenges. They can't find their way home and eventually end up in a truly devilish witch's house. Seneca pays for his criticism of the tyrant's actions with his life. Ottavia then forces the distraught Ottone to attempt to assassinate Poppea. But Cupid intervenes…
