Among Music@Menlo’s proudest achievements is the new generation of stellar chamber musicians which has emerged from its Chamber Music Institute. This program, conceived and curated by a quintet of extraordinary young artists, who are all Institute alumni, is the first of its kind, and not to be missed. The works chosen all relate to formative Music@Menlo experiences, a fitting and inspiring testament to the far-reaching influence of the Institute and its vital impact on the future of chamber music. The performance will be followed by a live Q&A with the artists on Zoom.

Inspired by Menlo: A Benefit

Violinist Chad Hoopes performs alongside alumni of the Music@Menlo International Program in a concert featuring Mozart’s beloved Piano Quartet in G minor. Then, hear the world premiere of Benjamin Scheer’s new work—a piano quartet—commissioned by Music@Menlo. Dvořák’s Piano Quartet no. 2 in E-flat major concludes the program with its impossibly rich melodies, dramatic color changes, and rousing energy.
