Join us for an enchanting evening with the Prairie Sons, featuring cellist David Liam Roberts and pianist Godwin Friesen. These two award-winning musicians, both hailing from the Prairie region, bring a unique and expansive perspective to their performances, inspired by the vast landscapes and living skies of their homeland.

David Liam Roberts and Godwin Friesen, who first met at the Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School of Music, have been recognized as kindred spirits in their dedication to innovative programming and engaging performances. Both musicians have been named to CBC’s list of Hot 30 Classical Musicians Under 30 and have a rich history of performing alongside their musical families.

As part of their Prairie Debut tour, the Prairie Sons will present a concert program that invites the audience to take a fresh look at familiar landscapes and witness the beauty in everyday moments.
