Richard Goode, a Grammy award-winning American pianist acknowledged worldwide as one of today’s leading interpreters of classical music, joins the SPCO to perform and conduct two of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s renowned piano concertos, Nos. 18 and 23. Frequent SPCO collaborator Chia-Hsuan Lin will conduct the high-energy world premiere of Līlā written by Korean American composer Texu Kim — a new work for chamber orchestra inspired by Korean shamanistic dance traditions.

Renowned globally for his profound interpretative prowess of Beethoven's works, Richard Goode stands as one of today’s most esteemed pianists. His upcoming recital at Caramoor will feature Beethoven’s three monumental final piano sonatas, promising an evening of unparalleled musical artistry. The program includes Piano Sonata No. 30 in E Major, Op. 109; Piano Sonata No. 31 in A-flat Major, Op. 110; and Piano Sonata No. 32 in C Minor, Op. 111.

For those seeking a more relaxed concert experience, Garden Listening tickets are available. This option allows guests to enjoy the concert broadcast audio-only onto Friends Field, encouraging attendees to bring their own seating and enjoy a picnic under the stars. Garden Listening tickets are priced at $20, with free admission for Members and children under 18 years old.
