This concert marks a significant milestone in the orchestra's history, celebrating its 125th Anniversary with a world premiere commissioned piece, "Madrigal Divine" by Nathaniel Dett, orchestrated by Jonathan Bailey Holland. The evening will also feature the mesmerizing "Piano Concerto, Op. 16, in A Minor" by Edvard Grieg, with Andrey Gugnin on the piano, alongside performances of Bizet's "March of the Toreadors from Carmen," Mendelssohn's "Scherzo from Incidental Music to A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Op. 61," and Sibelius's "Symphony No. 3, Op. 52, in C Major."

Enhance your experience with pre-concert live music in the FSPA lobby, starting at 6:30 pm, followed by a Concert Preview with Maestro Alexander Platt at 6:45 pm in the Viterbo Dance Studio. After the concert, indulge in Cookies & Coffee with the Maestro, featuring treats from Meringue and coffee from Moka. The night doesn't end there; join us at La Cav for a Post-Concert Party from 10:00 pm until midnight, offering specialty drinks and savory snacks.
