"Opera Unveiled" brings to the stage an array of opera's finest moments, from the soaring and poignant arias of Puccini and Verdi to the delightful comedic elements of Mozart. Attendees will be treated to a selection of arias and ensembles that have captivated audiences worldwide, performed by a stellar cast of artists, including sopranos Kathleen Farrar Buccleugh and Allison Sanders, tenor Roderick George, and baritone Daniel Seigel, among other special guests. Under the musical direction of John Robertson, and featuring performances by mezzo Alexis Davis-Hazell, bass Earl Hazell, soprano Lauren Tinsley, and the Opera Birmingham Chamber Chorus, the concert is set to deliver an unforgettable holiday experience. The performance will last approximately two hours, including one intermission, and will be interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL), with Braille and large print programs available upon request.

Feel like you’re in New York City with the ASO! The Orchestra takes you down Broadway playing a Valentine’s Day themed selection from some of your favorite musicals. Enjoy love songs from Little Mermaid, Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof, and so much more. The orchestra is joined by 5 local guest soloists and longtime friend of the ASO Kristi Tingle Higginbotham.
