With four performances of Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, the North German Philharmonic Orchestra Rostock, under the direction of its chief conductor Marcus Bosch, is saying goodbye to the year 2024. In doing so, it is following a more than 100-year-old tradition from Leipzig.
