The short prelude to the third act of Wagner's opera "Lohengrin" is a lively and festive piece - the ideal concert overture. In the opera, this prelude leads directly into the famous bridal chorus ("Treulich geführt"). Incidentally, "Lohengrin" was first performed in 1850 in the Goethe city of Weimar on Goethe's 101st birthday.
