The sea already sounds whipped up in the overture of the opera "The Wreckers" - after all, people here live off what the sea washes ashore after a storm. Tirrenio also comes from the sea to fool the ball guests with his nymphs in Henze's ballet "Undine" - with a colorful and virtuoso divertissement.
