Although Leila Josefowicz cut her teeth on standard repertoire, the biggest transformation of her professional life has been the chance to collaborate with living composers. Near the top of that impressive list is John Adams, who she says “changed my life totally.” This program begins with a treat for American history buffs and ends with Tchaikovsky’s emotions riding high.
