Afkham, Moser and Shostakovich
More details
Guest conductor David Afkham returns to the podium with Mozart, Shostakovich and a cello concerto that’s centered around the notion of teetering on the edge. Thorvaldsdottir’s Before we fall was composed for the remarkable cellist Johannes Moser, an artist who she knew could take her concerto to the highest level.
