The “sensational” (New York Times) Wei-Yi Yang explores the genius of Schumann’s early work with a program featuring the Abegg Variations, Papillons, and Etudes after Paganini Caprices. The evening also includes music by Schubert and Webern, two Viennese masters living a century apart.
