Eddie Harris would have turned 89 on October 20th this year. He was an innovator on his instrument , the tenor sax. He was born in Chicago , went to Dusable high school and recorded many albums of fantastically swinging and funky music ! Juli Wood's tribute to Harris , the quartet Eddie Who ? , will perform two sets of music written by Harris.
