Whenever an important statesperson is buried in the USA, Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings is played. It is one of the best-known works of classical music – and will be presented here together with the equally popular Clair de Lune. To conclude the program, a four-movement masterpiece: Dvořák's legendary "American" String Quartet.
